The operation reported by BMKG
In its 19 September 2026 post, @dmc_bmkg reported 25 UAV sorties and 25 kg of DUMAKRON used at Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) on 14–18 September. The operation supported forest-fire control alongside ground firefighting efforts.
BMKG reported indications of rainfall from field observations and satellite data. These observations are not a quantified measure of the operation’s effectiveness.
Collaboration in the field
The post describes cooperation between BMKG and the Ministry of Forestry, with flight-permission support from Abdulrachman Saleh Air Base.
