INAERO provided drone services to MGT and Bear Rock Consulting for a Saint Kitts government groundwater survey project.
Drone services for the project
INAERO supported the project through drone services for MGT and Bear Rock Consulting. This account of INAERO’s role is provided by the company; the public reports below describe the wider government initiative and its reported progress.
Survey launched in May 2025
According to SKNIS on 22 May 2025, the Water Services Department launched a semi-airborne survey to identify aquifers and potential well locations. The method combines drone measurements with ground-based electrodes. SKNIS names Bear Rock Consulting as overseeing technical execution.

21 August 2026: Saddlers drilling completed
SKNIS reports a well depth of approximately 640 feet, with groundwater encountered near 500 feet. Initial testing produced about 175 US gallons per minute; safe-yield testing was still underway. Pump installation, final testing and network connection remained ahead.
The Water Services Department and Water and Oil Well Services are responsible for the drilling programme. INAERO’s contribution was drone services for the survey.
From survey data to field verification
Geophysical surveys help guide follow-up investigation. A promising survey target still needs field testing before its water supply potential can be confirmed.
